Single Trash Hauler Workgroup to Meet Nov. 7
Published on November 06, 2024
A single trash hauler workgroup will meet at City Hall on Thursday, Nov. 7, at 5:30 p.m. to discuss trash services in Merriam.
The workgroup includes residents from each of the City's four wards, two City Councilmembers, and a representative from Johnson County Household Hazardous Waste.
The workgroup on Nov. 7 will continue discussions on what starting a single trash service would look like and work on a bid process.
The
City can still back out of pursuing a single trash hauler at any time throughout the process.
