Merriam police officers are wearing new commemorative badges through the end of next year. You can also see the new badge on all Merriam police cars.
The badge celebrates Merriam’s 75th birthday in 2025 and 75 years of the Merriam Police Department in 2026. It also symbolizes the department’s rich history and commitment to safety in the community.
During these milestone years, join in celebrating the values of courage, sacrifice, and compassion that have defined the Merriam Police Department since 1951.
