Merriam Wins Nine Communication Awards

The City of Merriam recently won nine communication awards at the national, state, and local levels! 

At the City-County Communications & Marketing Association, the City won five awards, including a first-place trophy for the Highlights & Recreation magazine. 

The City received three awards at the Greater Kansas City PRSA PRISM Awards ceremony, including two gold awards for the Highlights & Recreation magazine and the Slater St. Storybook Relay event. 

The 2024 Merriam Community & Visitor Guide won first place at the Kansas Tourism Conference for the best visitor guide in the medium budget category.
