Police Events

Merriam police officers stay involved in our community throughout the year. They enjoy connecting with residents at events like Coffee with a Cop, National Night Out, Citizens Police Academy, block parties, birthday parades, and many other community events put on by the City of Merriam. 

The Police Department is also very involved in Special Olympics Kansas and helped raise thousands of dollars for this worthwhile cause through events like Polar Plunge, Torch Run, and Heroes Pull.
