Check your mailboxes! Within the next two weeks, hundreds of randomly selected Merriam residents and all business owners will receive an important survey in the mail.
Merriam staff will use the survey to gather feedback on City programs and services and assess citizen satisfaction. The survey helps City leaders determine the community’s priorities and how the City should spend taxpayer dollars.
Not every household will get a survey. For those who receive one, the time you invest will guide decisions made about our City’s future.
The government research firm ETC Institute will analyze the data. It will send the City a final report this spring, and we’ll post the complete report online.
In 2018, Merriam’s ratings beat national averages in 41 out of 43 areas for citizen satisfaction.
