The Marketplace is an award-winning, community event pavilion located at 5740 Merriam Drive, in the heart of the downtown Merriam historic district. Plenty of paved parking, restrooms, drinking fountain, and park benches are provided for your shopping convenience.

The Marketplace is home to many special events and programs, including:
- Merriam Farmers' Market (May - October);
- Flags 4 Freedom Patriotic Flag Display;
- Music @ the Marketplace Summer Concert Series;
- Turkey Creek Car & Motorcycle Show; and
- Mayor's Holiday Tree.
2008 winner of the Stainless Steel Grill was Charles Davolt.
