8 AM - Irene B. French Community Center
Start training now for the 2008 5K “One Hill of a Run”, Walk & Youth Sprint. Registration fee (before May 15) is only $20.00. This is a great family event with a challenging course. DJ, prizes, goody-bags stuffed with lots of cool stuff, and after-race yummies. This is a Mid-America Running Association “GRAND PRIX” event. Excellent prep race for the Hospital Hill Run. PACKET Pick-up Schedule:
FRIDAY, May 16th from 8am-4:45pm
Saturday, May 17th from 6:00am-7:30am
Both at the Irene B. French Commuity Center, aka the starting and finish line of the run.
Also that day. . .the 23rd Annual “Merriam Turkey Creek Festival” in Antioch Park from 10:00am-5:00pm. All day festivities include a parade, arts & crafts, pancake feed, concessions, paddle boats and FREE CONCERTS! Plus...a “Kids Zone” with petting zoo, train ride, moonwalk and more!
