This workshop will be held Friday, September 29 - Sunday, October 1, at the Irene B. French Community Center. The cost of the workshop is $425 which includes breakfast, lunch & snacks. A $100 deposit will hold your place, with balance due August 28. The workshop will be focusing on color and light. Sally discusses optical mixing of layered color and to truly see and identify color, especially subtle color. The effects of light on color, composition and perception, as well as different light sources are explored. Demonstrations, lectures and a slide show are designed to give students tools to achieve intensely beautiful color. This workshop is designed for the beginner to professional. The demos will be given in pastel only. Painting from still life and costume models, each student will receive individual instruction and critiques. Workshop is limited to 15 participants.
